Music Composer – Marathi Lavani Songs (Freelance)

A freelance music composer and audio expert is required to create original Marathi Lavani songs blending traditional folk influences with contemporary pop elements. This project is for a personal initiative by a Marathi movie producer and offers the potential for long-term collaboration on future projects. The ideal candidate will have strong cultural understanding of Marathi folk music traditions, creative composition skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality recordings suitable for use in cinematic contexts. This is a remote role with flexible collaboration.

Requirements

• Proven experience composing or producing Marathi folk and/or Lavani music.
• Ability to blend traditional elements with modern pop influences for a unique sound.
• Strong understanding of melody, rhythm, and instrumentation typical of Lavani.
• Skills in music arrangement, sound design, and audio production.
• Proficiency with digital audio workstations (DAWs) and recording equipment.
• Ability to collaborate remotely and communicate effectively about creative direction.
• Mid-level professionals with relevant portfolio samples are preferred.
