About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Murex Senior Datamart Developer with strong expertise in Murex Datamart architecture, reporting, and data extraction frameworks. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing Datamart solutions that support risk management, regulatory reporting, finance, and front-office business functions for a leading financial institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Murex Datamart reporting and data extraction solutions.
• Configure and enhance Datamart reports, batches, and extraction processes within the Murex platform.
• Develop and optimize data models, reports, and interfaces to support business and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, risk teams, finance users, and front-office stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot Datamart performance, data integrity, and reporting issues.
• Support end-to-end testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and production releases.
• Participate in Murex platform upgrades, migrations, and enhancement projects.
• Ensure adherence to development best practices, governance standards, and operational controls.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Murex MX.3, particularly within the Datamart module.
• Proven experience in developing and supporting Datamart reports, extraction scripts, and reporting solutions.
• Strong understanding of Murex Datamart architecture, data models, feeders, and reporting workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases, preferably Oracle.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
• Good understanding of Capital Markets products, including FX, Fixed Income, Equities, and Derivatives.
• Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing Datamart processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced banking and financial services environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Prior experience in banking or financial services organizations.
• Experience with Murex implementation, upgrade, or migration projects.
• Exposure to other Murex modules such as Front Office, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Back Office, or Collateral Management.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and enterprise reporting frameworks.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting and risk management reporting requirements.
