About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Murex Front Office (FO) Consultant with strong expertise in Front Office configuration, trading workflows, pricing, and trade lifecycle management within the Murex platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with traders, structurers, business analysts, and technology teams to deliver scalable Front Office solutions that support business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support Murex Front Office solutions across multiple asset classes.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from trading desks and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Configure financial products, pricing models, simulation setups, market data, and trade workflows within Murex.
• Support trade capture, lifecycle event processing, and Front Office business processes.
• Collaborate with traders, risk teams, operations, and technology stakeholders to enhance platform capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Front Office production issues and system defects.
• Participate in Murex implementation, migration, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
• Support SIT, UAT, and production releases.
• Ensure compliance with governance standards, controls, and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain functional and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Murex MX.3 Front Office module.
• Proven experience in Front Office configuration, trade booking, pricing, and workflow setup.
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets products, including FX, Money Markets, Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, and Derivatives.
• Experience working with traders and Front Office stakeholders.
• Good understanding of pricing, valuation, P&L, and trade lifecycle management.
• Experience with Murex market data configuration and simulation management.
• Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact directly with business users.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related discipline.
• Prior experience within investment banking, capital markets, or financial services organizations.
• Experience supporting Murex implementation, migration, or upgrade programs.
• Exposure to Murex modules such as Market Risk, Credit Risk, Datamart, Back Office, or Collateral Management.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements impacting Front Office operations.
• Knowledge of integration frameworks and Murex interfaces is an added advantage.
