About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Murex Datamart & MxML Technical Lead to lead large-scale Murex implementation, integration, reporting, and transformation initiatives for leading banking clients across Singapore and APAC.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Murex MX.3 architecture, Datamart development, MxML integrations, technical consulting, stakeholder management, and end-to-end delivery leadership within Treasury and Capital Markets environments.
The candidate will work closely with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Operations, and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable and enterprise-grade Murex solutions across Treasury and Capital Markets platforms.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Lead end-to-end Murex Datamart and MxML implementation and delivery initiatives
- Design and develop Datamart reporting solutions for Risk, P&L, Regulatory, Exposure, and MIS reporting
- Develop and manage MxML integrations with core banking, treasury, settlement, risk, finance, and enterprise systems
- Lead architecture discussions, solution design, technical consulting, and stakeholder workshops
- Manage onsite/offshore delivery teams across development, testing, deployment, and production support
- Drive performance optimization, batch processing, troubleshooting, and environment support activities
- Work closely with Treasury, Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Operations teams on business and technical requirements
- Support trade lifecycle workflows across FX, Fixed Income, Interest Rate Derivatives, Bonds, and OTC products
- Provide delivery governance, estimation, resource planning, and project management support
- Mentor developers and consultants across Murex technical workstreams
Required Experience & Technical Skills
- 15+ years of IT experience with strong Banking and Capital Markets exposure
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Murex MX.3 platform
- Strong expertise in:
- Murex Datamart
- MxML
- Murex Integration Framework
- SQL / Oracle / Sybase
- Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
- XML / XSLT
- Java
- Middleware & Messaging technologies
- Experience in Risk Reporting, P&L Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, and Exposure Reporting
- Strong understanding of Treasury Operations, Market Risk, and Capital Markets workflows
- Experience leading large-scale Murex implementation or transformation programs
- Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and delivery leadership skills
- Experience working with Singapore/APAC banking clients preferred.
