Job Purpose
To deliver all maintenance troubleshooting, maintenance, and other services to the business partner.
Job description:
- Receive work orders and coordinate work to fit schedule as assigned by cluster supervisor.
- Maintain facility electrical, mechanical and equipment's.
- Repair electric motors, controllers and other auxiliary electrical devices.
- Install new wiring and electrical machinery work from prints and diagrams to determine layout, location, and specifications of items to install.
- Isolate and dismantle electrical equipment's replace defective parts reassemble, and test for proper operation.
- Check and repair lighting systems.
- Inventory stock, and requisition supplies to maintain adequate supply.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition following prescribed safety regulations.
- Maintain CCTV cabling system throughout the facility when noted, and troubleshoot the system to determine where problems or damage may have occurred.
- Able to communicate effectively and clearly, to the individual store managers & warehouse managers, and their teams, as required for any reactive and/or preventive works.
- Able to coordinate the delivery of ALL preventive maintenance activities for the stores allocated to you.
- Estimate time and materials required on work order.
- Inventory stock, and requisition supplies to maintain adequate supply.
- Any ad-hoc duties and responsibilities assigned.
Requirement:
- Must possess a Class 3 driver license, a commercial badge would be preferred but is not essential.
- NITEC certification in relevant field.
- Possess at least 2 years experience in building maintenance.
- Be an effective communicator, able to develop a strong partnership with retail store managers
- Participate in an on-call roster for standby and weekend duties
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, to proactively and flexibly anticipate and resolve issues, so that when critical breakdown issues occurs, it is minimized.
