We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead a large-scale Central Kitchen operation, overseeing a team of 15-20 Sous Chefs and Cooks. This role requires a strong culinary leader who can manage operations, maintain food quality standards, and drive menu innovation for both Halal and Non-Halal kitchen operations.
Salary
- Up to $10,000 per month (Salary commensurate with experience and capability)

- Monday - Friday, 9.5 hours per day

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily Central Kitchen operations
- Ensure consistent food quality and timely order fulfilment
- Develop and propose menus for customer enquiries and tender submissions
- Create innovative dining concepts for retail outlets and catering operations
- Support and manage high-profile catering events and services
- Evaluate and source new ingredients, raw materials, and suppliers
- Prepare weekly ingredient forecasts for purchasing and production planning
- Establish standard food costing and monitor costs to ensure profitability
- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Monitor and control labour costs while improving kitchen productivity
- Lead, train, and develop a large team of Sous Chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of culinary experience in reputable or large-scale F&B / hospitality establishments
- Proven experience managing central kitchen or large production kitchens
- Strong leadership ability with experience managing large kitchen teams
- Experience managing both Halal and Non-Halal kitchen operations is advantageous
