Motor Underwriting (Business Development) - Insurer

Key Responsibilities

. Review and underwrite new motor insurance cases in line with internal guidelines

. Liaise with intermediaries and clients on enquiries, renewals, and policy-related matters

. Assess renewal accounts, including claims experience, and provide recommendations

. Manage and monitor an assigned portfolio to support its performance

. Support the team lead on day-to-day underwriting matters and team activities

. Provide basic guidance to junior staff or administrative support where required

What We Are Looking For:

. Preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience in motor underwriting or motor insurance

. Good understanding of motor insurance and risk assessment

. Familiar with different types of motor vehicles and underwriting considerations

. Comfortable communicating with intermediaries and clients

. Advantage if you possess General Insurance certifications such as BCP, PGI, or ComGI
