Purpose and Scope: The Motor Overhaul Technician is responsible for the disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing of electric motors. This role ensures that motors are restored to optimal performance levels, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Carefully dismantle electric motors to examine components for wear, damage, and defects.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, including bearings, windings, and other motor components.
- Accurately reassemble motors, ensuring all parts are correctly aligned and secured.
- Perform tests to verify motor performance and ensure repairs meet specified standards.
- Maintain detailed records of all overhaul activities, including inspection findings, repairs performed, and test results.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep motors in good working condition.

Qualifications:
- O/N level or equivalent technical or vocational training in electrical or mechanical fields is preferred.

- Relevant certifications in motor overhaul and repair are advantageous.
