KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
. to handle mooring lines in making fast / casting off vessels.
. to connect / disconnect cargo / fresh water hoses.
. rigging of gangway.
. to assist in cargo loading / discharging operations, including packed stock lifting operations. to assist in lining-up of cargo lines opening / closing valves.
. to assist in cargo samples collection.
. to perform ullaging of storage tanks.
. to check on vessel's mooring during operation and to remain alert throughout for responding to emergencies, etc.
. to maintain cleanliness at wharf.
. to perform other duties as assigned during slack hours.
. to participate pollution / fire exercises at wharf as part of training to respond to emergencies.
Operations at the wharf are carried out 24 hours per day including Sundays and Public holidays and hence at all times during their working hours, the mooring crew / marine assistant is to be ready to respond to emergencies at wharf such as, fire, oil spill and security breaches.

KEY SKILLS
. Physically fit to perform labour tasks.
. Preferably having 2 years of working experience, especially in the marine industry.
. Able to work in a team.
. Able to work 12 hrs shift.
. WSQ certified for Perform Rigger and Signalman Tasks (advantage).
. WSQ certified to Supervise Safe Lifting Operations (advantage).
. WSQ certified for Perform Work At Height (advantage).
. WSQ certified for Perform Work in Confined Space Operation (advantage).
Formal training will be provided as necessary.
WORKING HOURS: 12HRS PER SHIFT (SHIFT WORK)
