We are seeking a versatile Full-Stack Software Engineer to manage the continued development and security of our web application. You will be responsible for rolling out functional change requests and implementing security patches based on provided vulnerability reports across the entire tech stack.
Key Responsibilities
Feature Development & Rollout
- Multi-Platform Enhancements: Develop and deploy change requests across web, mobile (Flutter/iOS), and backend systems.
- End-to-End Delivery: Translate customer requirements into functional code, moving updates through development, testing, and production.
- UI/UX Implementation: Use HTML and JavaScript to refine user interfaces as part of functional change requests.
- Reactive Security Updates: Take security scanning reports provided by the customer and implement the specific patches or version upgrades required to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Dependency Management: Update libraries and frameworks (Node.js, Java, AngularJS) to address identified security risks without breaking existing functionality.
- Cross-Stack Maintenance: Ensure security compliance across the full stack, from SQL databases to frontend frameworks.
Requirements
- Web Frontend: AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, and UI development.
- Backend: Node.js and Java.
- Mobile: Flutter and native iOS App Development.
- Database: SQL (querying and schema updates for feature rollouts).
- Environment: Proficiency in working within a macOS environment for mobile builds.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development, including iOS app development using Mac environment
- Adaptability: Ability to switch context between different languages (Java to JavaScript) and platforms (Web to Mobile).
- Detail-Oriented Patching: Proven ability to follow external security briefs to apply fixes to an existing codebase.
- Version Control: Familiar with using Git (or other similar system) for managing parallel feature updates and security hotfixes.
