Mobile Application Developer (Android)

Join a global software provider delivering mission-critical solutions across defense and public security worldwide. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and enhance Android applications, contributing to impactful systems used in over 100 countries. You will work across the full development lifecycle, from implementation and integration to troubleshooting, while ensuring high standards in performance, compliance, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin
• Build responsive UIs with Jetpack Compose and Android frameworks
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
• Participate in Agile processes (sprints, code reviews, retrospectives)
• Debug, optimize performance, and improve app reliability
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment pipelines
• Conduct unit, UI, and UAT testing
• Document technical designs and implementations

Requirements

• 2 years of Android development experience (Kotlin)
• Strong grasp of Kotlin (coroutines, flows, null safety)
• Experience with Jetpack (ViewModel, Navigation, LiveData/Flow)
• Familiarity with modern Android UI (e.g. Jetpack Compose)
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and Git
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile practices
• Exposure to DevOps is a plus
