We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mobile App and API Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing for mobile applications and APIs, ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our applications through rigorous testing.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse user requirements and develop test cases accordingly.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for mobile apps and APIs.
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using tools like Appium, Selenium, and Postman.
- Conduct regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Identify, document, and track bugs effectively.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Perform post-release and post-implementation testing to verify system integrity.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results and findings.
- Analyse application performance under different conditions and document observations.
- Stay updated with new testing tools and automation frameworks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to address system issues
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in mobile automation testing using Appium and Selenium.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
- Proficiency in Java or Python for test automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes for continuous testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
