MILLING MACHINE SETTER-OPERATOR (METALWORKING)

Job Description

. Set up and operate milling machines (manual / CNC)

. Install and align cutting tools, fixtures, and workpieces

. Read and interpret technical drawings

. Adjust machine parameters to ensure accuracy and quality

. Perform basic programming or editing (for CNC machines)

. Monitor production and ensure smooth operation

. Inspect finished parts to meet specifications

. Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping

Requirements

. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in milling / metalworking

. Able to perform machine setup and operation independently

. Familiar with technical drawings and measuring tools

. Basic knowledge of CNC programming is an advantage

. Responsible, hardworking, and able to follow instructions

. Team player with good working attitude
