MIDNIGHT SHIFT DELIVERY DRIVER

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate lorries or heavy goods vehicles (HGV) in compliance with road safety laws.
• Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
• Deliver goods to customers or warehouses on time and in good condition.
• Plan delivery routes and follow schedules and GPS navigation systems.
• Maintain delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and other documentation.
• Conduct routine inspections and ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly.
• Follow company procedures for the handling of goods and documents.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and warehouse staff.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and transport laws.

Requirements:

• Valid Singapore Class 3 license.
• Proven experience as a lorry driver.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to read maps and use GPS systems.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Basic mechanical skills are a plus.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Reliable and self-motivated.

Working Conditions:

• May involve long hours and overnight stays.
• Working in various weather conditions.
• Physically demanding due to loading/unloading tasks.

Preferred:

• Forklift license (if applicable).
• Able to commit with shift rotated and weekend.
