Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer to join a leading banking technology team. The role focuses on middleware integration, API development, and message-based system connectivity, supporting critical banking platforms and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support middleware and integration solutions across banking systems.
- Build and maintain APIs, message queues, and service orchestration workflows to ensure reliable system connectivity.
- Apply integration patterns and queue optimization techniques to support high-throughput, low-latency environments.
- Participate in middleware operations, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure seamless end-to-end integration.
Required Experience & Skills
- 810 years of hands-on experience in middleware and integration platform development.
- Strong expertise in middleware integration, API development, and message queue optimization.
- Proven experience with integration patterns, message queues, and service orchestration.
- Solid understanding of system connectivity and middleware operations in enterprise environments.
- Experience working in banking or financial services environments is highly preferred.
Added Advantage
- Experience in banking operations analysis, creation of banking operation procedures, and operational planning.
- Basic knowledge or hands-on exposure to cloud-based middleware services, such as Azure Service Bus.
