Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide global production support across key middleware technologies, ensuring reliable and stable operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, problems, service requests, and changes with strong technical expertise.
- Collaborate with development, project, and business teams to support project deliverables and technical requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, performance tuning, and operational best practices.
- Conduct technical analysis to identify and address performance or stability issues in production platforms.
- Contribute to DevOps practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, testing, and compliance activities.
- Enhance middleware platforms, develop self-service interfaces, and support strategic initiatives as a subject-matter specialist.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years experience with Linux/Unix/Windows and middleware tools such as Axway CFT, Secure Transport, Sentinel, and IBM MQ.
- Proficiency with monitoring and analytics platforms (e.g., OMI, ServiceNow, Geneos) and scripting languages like Java, Shell, Python, PowerShell, or Perl.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change management.
- Exposure to container, automation, and DevOps-related technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Elasticsearch, Rundeck, or Git.
- Willingness to work shifts and participate in on-call rotations, with a customer-focused and collaborative mindset.
- Added advantage: Experience with DevOps frameworks, Control-M certification, IBM MQ expertise, or prior work in financial institutions.
