Key responsibilities

P&L Management: Oversee daily P&L production, validation, reporting, and ownership of trading positions and balance sheets.
Valuation Control: Ensure robust valuation controls, identify emerging valuation risks, and maintain accurate valuation and accounting of financial instruments.
Product Expertise: Leverage strong knowledge of financial products and trading strategies to support valuation, accounting, and new business activities.
Technology & Automation: Drive technology and automation initiatives within Product Control to enhance efficiency, controls, and reporting processes.

Role requirements

Degree in Finance or Business, with CA/CPA or equivalent certification CFA or relevant financial instruments/risk qualifications are advantageous.
Minimum 5 years of Product Control experience in a bank or trading environment, with additional exposure to Risk or Financial Control.
Strong knowledge of financial products, especially derivatives, with a solid understanding of valuation, accounting, and risk management principles.
Proficient in Excel, VBA, BI tools, SQL, and Python, with strong data analysis skills and experience driving automation initiatives.
Proven team management experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
