Middle Office Analyst - Contract

The team in the Middle Office provides front-to-back post-execution support for equity based derivative and equity risk management activities

As the first point of contact for Equities Trading desks, support execution across products such as cash equities, futures, and swaps, ensuring positions are accurately booked and maintained in risk systems.

ROLE

- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the operational lifecycle by engaging with clients, trading desks, brokers, Sales, Structuring, and other teams.

- Partner with product experts to review operational aspects of trade flows, building strong technical knowledge and risk control awareness.

- Identify efficiency opportunities to enhance scalability and streamline processes.

- Apply quantitative skills to break down complex regulatory and operational requirements, proposing robust solutions.

- Take ownership of the full front-to-back operational flow, ensuring seamless execution of trades and new business initiatives.

Skills & Experience

- Understanding of Equity Derivative products and Cash Securities

- Strong teamworking skills

- Proven ability to build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Independent, self-starter with the ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritize effectively.

- Open to candidates without relevant experience but willing to learn and some knowledge of finance and banking

This is a 6 month contract role and subject to further renewal
