This is an established player in the agriculture commodities sector, with significant foot print in Asia and ambitious global growth plans. They are seeking to hire an experienced Middle Office & Risk Manager to shape and drive its middle office, market risk capabilities. This is a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization's commercial interests in a highly dynamic and volatile global market. The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team to deliver robust risk management solutions that support sustainable growth.

Role
Reporting to the Head of Risk, the Manager will define and lead the overall market risk strategy for the agri-commodities portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk appetite. This includes developing comprehensive frameworks for VaR, stress testing, scenario analysis, and exposure limits. Working closely with commercial, operations and finance teams, he/ she will embed risk awareness across the organization and optimize trading strategies within defined limits. The role also involves monitoring emerging risks, leveraging advanced analytics and automation tools, and fostering a culture of rigor and innovation within the risk team.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in market risk management, preferably within commodities or related sectors. Prior exposure to agribusiness or commodity trading is highly advantageous. You should be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and hands-on expertise in risk modeling methodologies. Proven leadership ability and the capacity to influence cross-functional teams in a global, fast-paced environment are essential.
