This role is an opportunity for a skilled music producer to collaborate on a unique EDM album designed to deliver evidence-based psychological advice to a young audience. The project, titled Sound Advice, consists of 10 tracks that address important themes such as anxiety, heartbreak, addiction, and empathy. Each song is inspired by real-world sources, including NHS guidelines and established psychological research, with the aim of making mental health guidance accessible and engaging through music. The demos are fully produced with AI vocals, and all stems are prepared for further production. The ideal candidate will bring creative vision and technical expertise to elevate the tracks to a professional, release-ready standard, while also contributing to the album's overall cohesion and impact.
Deliverables
- Re-produce and mix 10 EDM tracks to a professional, commercial standard suitable for release on major platforms.
- Collaborate on creative transitions, interludes, and overall album flow to ensure a cohesive listening experience.
- Select and guide real vocalists to replace AI vocals, ensuring authenticity and emotional resonance.
- Provide creative input on arrangement, sound design, and final mastering.
- Advise on release strategies and be open to royalty-share arrangements.
Requirements
- Proven experience producing and mixing EDM or electronic music to a professional standard.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in music production, mixing, and mastering.
- Creative mindset with a passion for mental health advocacy and youth-focused projects.
- Ability to collaborate remotely and communicate effectively throughout the production process.
