Job Overview
Servo Autowerkz Pte Ltd is looking for a reliable and hands-on Mid-Level Automotive Technician to join our workshop team. We are seeking someone with basic to intermediate experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, a strong willingness to learn, and a meticulous working attitude.
The ideal candidate should be responsible, honest, hardworking, and able to work independently while also functioning well within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repair works on passenger vehicles
- Diagnose basic mechanical and electrical faults accurately
- Carry out engine oil servicing, brake repairs, suspension work, battery replacement, aircon servicing, and general repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment properly
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify potential issues
- Ensure all repair works are completed safely and to workshop standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work area and tools
- Follow workshop SOPs and safety practices
- Assist senior technicians on advanced repair and troubleshooting work when required
- Test drive vehicles when necessary to verify repairs
Requirements
- At least basic experience and knowledge in automotive repair and servicing
- Able to perform general maintenance and repair work independently
- Familiar with Japanese, Continental, or Korean vehicles is an advantage
- Possess good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Responsible and takes pride in workmanship
- Positive attitude and willing to learn
- Punctual, disciplined, and hardworking
- Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team player with good communication skills
- Valid Class 3 driving licence preferred
