Job Purpose
The Microsoft D365 Sales Manager will lead the company's go-to-market efforts for Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, including Finance & Operations, Business Central, and related modules. This is an individual contributor role with a strong focus on new business development, hunting for new clients, and expanding 9 Dots footprint across Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will drive revenue growth by identifying new prospects, developing strategic relationships, and closing complex enterprise deals in collaboration with Microsoft and key partners.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth
- Own and achieve annual D365 revenue and gross margin targets.
- Lead the full sales cycle - from prospecting, qualifying, pitching, and solution positioning to proposal management, negotiation, and closure.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new prospects across target industries (manufacturing, retail, services, distribution, etc.).
- Develop new executive-level relationships with decision makers and influence enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
- Work closely with pre-sales and solution architects to design winning proposals that align with customer needs.
Client & Partner Engagement
- Engage directly with C-level clients and new contacts to promote Microsoft D365 solutions.
- Partner with Microsoft sales teams to drive co-sell motions, leverage incentive programs, and expand joint go-to-market opportunities.
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within new or existing accounts to maximize revenue potential.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and executive briefings to build brand visibility
Market & Strategy
- Monitor market trends and competitors (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Infor, etc.) to sharpen sales strategy.
- Provide feedback to leadership on product positioning, pricing, and new market opportunities.
- Support marketing and thought leadership initiatives such as webinars, whitepapers, and customer case studies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Annual D365 sales and gross margin targets achieved.
- New logo acquisition and customer expansion rate.
- Pipeline coverage and forecast accuracy.
- Microsoft co-sell revenue contribution.
- Customer satisfaction and reference wins.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related discipline (MBA preferred).
Experience
- 10+ years of enterprise solution sales experience, with strong track record in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent Tier-1 ERP/CRM solutions.
- Minimum 5 years in senior sales or business development capacity, ideally within Microsoft ecosystem. Proven ability to hunt, prospect, and close complex enterprise deals.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia markets highly desirable.
