[What the role is]
The incumbent will be part of the Finance team involved in the full spectrum of procurement function and may undertake other finance functions such as treasury management and business partnering.[What you will be working on]

Regular review of procurement policies and guidelines
Evaluate procurement requests and submissions
Provide guidance to line departments on procurement policies and processes to ensure compliance and optimal procurement outcomes
Identify and propose process improvements
Support system enhancements
Business Partnering
Partner internal stakeholders on financial operations, budgeting and resource management matters
Advise internal stakeholders on compliance with financial and procurement regulations and guidelines
Finance function such as Treasury Management
Oversee investment performance and bank administration
Contribute to timely month-end closing and prepare / review financial schedules
Compile and submit ad-hoc returns to government entities
Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned

Proficiency in data analysis, reporting and stakeholder management
Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to handle large datasets

Experience in procurement functions and processes
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Government Instruction Manual on Finance and Procurement
Financial management knowledge and experience
Previous experience in business partnering roles
