Job Descriptions:
- Familiarity with key metrology tools such as CD-SEM, AFM, XPS, ellipsometers, and wafer probing systems.
- Solid understanding of metrology fundamentals, including critical dimensions (CD), thin-film thickness measurement, and defect inspection methodologies.
- Participate in defining metrology equipment specifications and evaluating tool capability and performance.
- Collaborate with vendors to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain tool health and reliability.
- Proficient in statistical data analysis, SPC, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Gage R&R methodologies.
- Experienced with statistical software such as JMP.
- Skilled in analyzing complex datasets, identifying root causes, and recommending effective corrective actions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
- 5-10+ years of experience in characterization techniques, preferably within the semiconductor industry.
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including lithography, deposition, etching, and other key fabrication steps.
- Familiarity with Damascene and SAP processes used in high-density substrate manufacturing.
- Knowledge of image processing, computer vision, and machine learning techniques for defect classification and automated inspection is a plus.
- Understanding of quality management standards, such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949, is beneficial in production environments.
