Metallurgical Processing Equipment Expert
Overview:
We seek a senior metallurgical engineer with extensive experience working with industrial machinery used in metals refining, alloy production, and fabrication of end-use materials to join our consulting team supporting industrial manufacturing clients. The role involves working closely with client engineering and operations teams to evaluate metallurgical production equipment, optimize process design, and provide technical guidance on materials manufacturing operations across refining, alloying, and fabrication environments.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze metallurgical processing equipment and industrial production systems used in refining, alloying, casting, forging, rolling, or fabrication of metal products.
- Review technical documentation, engineering specifications, equipment design documents, and production records relating to metals manufacturing operations.
- Prepare written expert reports for use in international arbitration proceedings.
- Advise legal teams on technical issues relating to metals processing equipment, plant operations, and materials manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years experience working with metallurgical production systems or industrial machinery used in metals refining and manufacturing.
- Deep technical expertise in equipment used for metals processing such as furnaces, casting systems, rolling mills, forging equipment, alloying systems, or heat treatment facilities.
- Experience working in metals production plants, heavy industrial manufacturing environments, or metallurgical engineering roles involving plant equipment and process design preferred.
- Prior experience with technical disputes, patent litigation, or arbitration preferred.
- Advanced degree in metallurgical engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, or related field.
Salary Range: $110,000.00 To $185,000.00 Annually, $500 to $2,000 Hourly for consulting.
