Job Description

About the Role

We are building an M&A team in Singapore to support regional and global transaction activities, with a focus on technology-related businesses. We are open to candidates across levels, from junior professionals to senior M&A leaders, depending on experience and fit.

This role offers exposure to end-to-end M&A execution, cross-border transactions, and strategic projects across Asia and globally.

Key Responsibilities

(Responsibilities will be adjusted based on seniority)

  • Support and/or lead end-to-end M&A transactions, including:
  • Deal origination and target screening
  • Financial and strategic analysis
  • Valuation and business case preparation
  • Due diligence coordination (commercial, financial, legal, tax)
  • Transaction structuring and negotiation support
  • Conduct industry, market, and company research, particularly in technology-related sectors
  • Prepare investment materials, internal memos, and presentations for management and stakeholders
  • Work closely with internal teams and external advisors (banks, lawyers, consultants)
  • Support post-merger integration planning where applicable
  • Participate in regional and international travel as required for deal execution

Requirements

  • Prior experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or related fields
  • Having M&A experience in the digital energy sector would be a plus.
  • Strong interest and understanding of technology-driven businesses (IT, software, digital services, platforms, etc.)
  • Based in Singapore
  • English fluency is mandatory (written and spoken)
  • Chinese (Mandarin) is strongly preferred; additional languages are a plus
  • Comfortable working on cross-border and multi-jurisdiction transactions
  • Willing and able to travel regionally and globally
  • Strong analytical skills, commercial judgment, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team-based deal environments

Seniority-Specific Expectations

Junior levels (Analyst / Associate):

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
  • Transaction support and execution focus

Mid–Senior levels (Manager / Director):

  • Experience leading workstreams or transactions
  • Ability to manage advisors and interact with senior stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and deal structuring experience
