We're looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Merchandising Intern to support the South Asia Merchandising team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills, including the ability to build and manage complex workbooks, and a good understanding of using AI tools to improve workflow efficiency. The role will support data preparation, stock-related coordination with stores, and regular and ad-hoc reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex Excel files, including multi-tab workbooks, advanced formulas, pivot tables, data summaries, trackers, and dashboards.
- Generate, organize, and validate merchandising data to support business analysis and planning.
- Communicate with stores to collect stock requests and relay them to the merchandising team.
- Support stock allocation, transfer, replenishment, and inventory-related coordination when required.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized files, trackers, reports, and shared documents.
- Assist the merchandising team with other day-to-day operational and administrative tasks.
- Use AI tools to speed up and improve Excel work - generating templates, cleaning data, writing formulas, and automating repetitive tasks.
Requirements
- Excellent Excel skills - comfortable building complex files with formulas and pivot tables.
- Experience or a strong interest in using AI tools to assist with Excel and data tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling data.
- Good communication skills, able to coordinate clearly with stores and internal teams.
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple requests at once.
Nice to Have
- Prior internship or work experience in retail, merchandising, or supply chain.
- Familiarity with reporting or data visualization tools.
- Basic understanding of retail operations and stock management.
- Interest in luxury fashion and retail.
