Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily visits to assigned retail outlets and other relevant locations to ensure product presence and visibility.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with store management and staff to facilitate smooth merchandising operations.
- Ensure products are properly displayed, well-stocked, and rotated according to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
- Collaborate with store personnel to replenish on-shelf stock and manage product inventory levels efficiently.
- Support and coordinate promotional displays and in-store activations.
- Support product sampling initiatives and live demonstrations to engage customers and promote food-related items.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering product inquiries, offering recommendations, and addressing issues promptly at store level.
- Observe and report competitor activities, pricing strategies, and promotional efforts for strategic insights.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to the management and product development teams.
- Submit regular reports on sales performance, stock levels, display conditions, and any issues or opportunities identified.
- Participate in stock management and ensure product displays are attractive, informative, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Perform other ad-hoc or related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in merchandising for at least 3 years
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills
- Preferred to have basic food hygiene certificate
