We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to support the execution of buying plans and ensure smooth product flow from suppliers to sales channels. This role focuses on inventory coordination, sales performance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely product availability and strong commercial performance.
We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in fashion and retail trends, and is excited to work closely with products, collections, and brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of buying decisions following collection reviews with designers and brands
- Coordinate orders, product quantities, pricing confirmation, and delivery timelines with suppliers and vendors
- Manage product flow across multiple sales channels including e-commerce platforms and marketplaces (e.g. Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop)
- Monitor stock levels, product availability, and inventory movement across channels
- Track deliveries and ensure timely replenishment of products
- Analyse sales performance, including sell-through rates, stock ageing, and inventory health
- Prepare sell-through reports and perform basic data crunching to support merchandising decisions (e.g. identifying bestsellers, slow-moving items, and stock risks)
- Support Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning and inventory allocation decisions
- Liaise closely with internal teams (sales, operations, logistics) to ensure smooth product rollout
- Participate in discussions with designers and brands, with understanding of season cycles and product positioning
- Provide input on styling direction and product assortment based on sales performance and customer demand
Requirements
- Interest in fashion and retail, with awareness of trends and consumer preferences
- Prior merchandising experiences in fashion, beauty, and/or retail industry preferred
- Familiarity or understanding of merchandising concepts such as: Sell-through Analysis, OTB Planning, Consignment Model and Season Cycle Planning
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Good organisational and coordination skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
