Merchandiser cum Driver

Overview

We are seeking a Merchandiser who can also drive a company-provided vehicle to manage consignment retail execution and replenishment across assigned stores. The role is merchandising-heavy, focusing on maintaining display standards, minimising shrinkage, and executing promotions, while ensuring timely stock replenishment through daily store visits.

Key Responsibilities

. Merchandising & Consignment Execution (Primary - 70%)

. Visit assigned consignment outlets (supermarkets, pharmacies, gyms, convenience stores) based on route plan.

. Replenish shelves, chillers, gondola ends, impulse bays, and promotional displays according to planograms.

. Conduct expiry checks and stock rotation (FIFO) to minimise shrinkage and wastage.

. Ensure price tags, shelf talkers, wobblers, POS materials are correctly displayed.

. Execute promotional setups (side wings, gondola ends, sampling activations).

. Capture and upload photo reports of store execution daily.

. Communicate with store managers/staff to maintain strong working relationships and resolve issues.

. Collect competitor and market insights (pricing, promotions, display presence).Driving & Replenishment

. Drive company vehicle to transport stock from warehouse to outlets.

. Safely handle and deliver products to assigned stores.

. Assist in loading/unloading stock and ensuring correct delivery documentation (DOs, replenishment sheets).

. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks (fuel, tyres, safety).Additional Support

. Assist with new product launches, events, and activations.

. Provide feedback to Sales Ops on stock needs, promotional impact, and store-level challenges.

. Support other distribution or merchandising tasks outside consignment when required.

Requirements

. Valid Class 3/3A driving licence (experience with vans preferred).

. Prior experience in FMCG merchandising / consignment retail operations an advantage.

. Physically fit able to lift cartons and replenish stock in-store.

. Attention to detail in expiry checks, planogram compliance, and reporting.

. Basic smartphone literacy for reporting and photo submissions.

. Good interpersonal skills to liaise with store staff/managers.

. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow structured route plans independently.

Working Conditions
. 5.5-day work week (early morning store visits required).
. Company vehicle provided for work use.
