Job Responsibilities

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

As a Merchandiser, and part of the Merchandising Department, you will be working across all the retail networks and partner with the global HQ to support in all buying and merchandising activities for SEA and Australia.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Generate reports and provide business analysis to offer visibility on category performance
  • Come up with action plans to drive business objectives, and execute these action plans
  • Collaborate with other departments: VM, CRM, PR, Retail and Stores to drive sales & results
  • Provide information required for retail teams to ensure the best possible sales performance
  • Work with in-store VM specialists to maximise VM opportunities to drive the business with a view to local needs that are in line with global guidelines
  • Conduct competitor analysis reports on pricing, products, etc.
  • Engage the supply chain team to ensure the best availability of product across the region to maximise sell-through
  • Participate in the seasonal buying sessions across categories with main responsibility for delivery of the final buy including reviews and revisions with the team in Paris
  • Represent the needs of the SEAO business to the team in Paris, ensuring clear communication about what is required for the market while responding to the buying guidelines presented each season

KEYS FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor's Degree or above
  • Position requires minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with background in Merchandising
  • A passion for CELINE and our collections
  • Business acumen with good negotiating skills
  • Customer focus with the ability to build rapport and relationships
  • Self-motivated with a sense of initiative and urgency
  • Good analytical ability with proven problem-solving and follow up skills
  • Highly rigorous with an eye for detail
  • Team player with positive service attitude
  • Excellent Microsoft excel / office and computer literacy
