About the role
This role involves procurement management for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) materials, equipment, and construction services. You will manage the full procurement lifecycle from vendor sourcing through to contract administration and payment processing.
Key responsibilities
Prepare, update, and maintain Procurement Register/Record of MECIA/materials and equipment
Source potential vendors and suppliers and send out invitation of RFQs
Carry out procurement packages of key plant and equipment, process and construction materials
Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and construction team during RFQ stage
Coordinate post-RFQ interviews between vendors/suppliers, construction team, QS team and contract team
Conduct review, comparison, analysis of materials and equipment to be purchased and prepare budget cost, analysis and reports
Prepare and issue purchase orders/sub-contract to selected vendor or suppliers
Handle administration of PO/Contracts and relevant payment responses
About you
Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Building Facilities
2 to 5+ years of relevant MEP QS experience in Singapore (Consultancy, Main Contractor, or MEP Subcontractor background)
Proficiency in MS Excel and BIM/measurement tools (e.g., CostX, Glodon, Bluebeam)
Solid understanding of Singapore's BCA regulatory guidelines, standard methods of measurement (e.g., Singapore Standard CP 97 / MySMM), and local material/labor rates
Accreditation under the SISV (Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers) or the APQS (Accredited Professional Quantity Surveyor) scheme is advantageous
