As a Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the operational delivery of assigned projects, ensuring that all safety, technical, commercial and management requirements are successfully met from the pre-bid and pre-construction stages through to practical completion.
What you'll do
- Work closely with Senior Management and the central team to ensure clear, consistent and effective communication across all project activities.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with ISO standards, company procedures and established project delivery processes.
- Support the Sales and Proposals teams during the bid and tender stages, contributing to professional, commercially viable and successful project proposals.
- Provide clear leadership to the project delivery team, establishing objectives, responsibilities, accountabilities and performance expectations.
What you'll need
- PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is required.
- Degree in Project Management, Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent extensive trade or industry experience will also be considered.
- Certified Data Centre Project Manager (CDCPM) or demonstrated project management experience within the data centre sector is highly desirable.
- Significant international project delivery experience, preferably within data centres or other mission-critical environments.
- Proven experience managing projects within construction and M&E environments.
- Strong understanding of the data centre industry and associated mission-critical services.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness, including understanding of project profitability, P&L and commercial costing.
