Company Overview

As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a MEP Manager to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute departmental implementation plans aligned with regional objectives. Direct the execution of MEP works to achieve organizational performance goals.
  • Technical Oversight & Quality: Establish and manage quality assurance systems. Provide expert technical guidance throughout the design and construction processes, investigating root causes of technical issues and implementing recurrence prevention measures.
  • Financial & Operational Management: Exercise authority over departmental budgets and business execution. Promote design and construction planning that maximizes productivity and completion profit targets.
  • People & Culture: Lead personnel allocation and performance evaluations. Foster a workplace environment characterized by psychological safety and collaboration. Support the career development and mentorship of department members.
  • Stakeholder Management: Represent the department in high-level negotiations, influencing outcomes and reaching agreements with internal and external parties even when interests may not align.
  • Process Improvement: Lead fundamental reviews of existing mechanisms and processes to solve challenges and drive the GM's strategic vision.

Key Requirements


  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience within the construction industry.
  • Expertise: Broad and deep technical knowledge across the MEP field, with the ability to respond quickly and accurately to complex engineering challenges.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a senior leadership or HOD role within an MEP-related department, ideally within a major construction or design-build firm.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to predict design and production performance, analyse deviations from targets, and implement strategies to secure orders and profits.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to collaborate, cooperate, and coordinate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to formulate comprehensive implementation plans and direct large teams toward long-term organizational goals.
  • Professional Network: A well-established network within the MEP industry and a career history reflecting diverse, high-level MEP work experience.
