MEP Manager

Job Descriptions:

. Collaborate with Project Managers to integrateMEP systems into overall project plans.

. Develop MEP project schedules and milestones.

. Lead and manage the MEP team, providingtechnical guidance and support.

. Cultivate collaboration among MEP team membersand other project stakeholders.

. Coordinate with architects and engineers toensure MEP systems align with project requirements.

. Review and approve MEP designs and drawings.

. Monitor and control costs to ensure adherenceto budgetary constraints.

. Source and select MEP contractors, vendors, andsuppliers.

. Negotiate contracts and agreements with MEPservice providers.

. Implement and monitor quality control measuresfor MEP installations.

. Conduct regular inspections to ensurecompliance with industry standards.

. Oversee the installation and commissioning ofMEP systems.

. Manage MEP project timelines to meet projectmilestones.

. Ensure adherence to local regulations governingMEP systems.

. Obtain necessary permits and approvals for MEPinstallations.

. Identify potential risks associated with MEPinstallations and develop mitigation strategies.

. Implement contingency plans to addressunforeseen challenges.

. Liaise with clients,consultants, relevant authorities, and subcontractors regarding M&E issues,ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.

. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related fields PE Board recognized degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with strong M&E project management expertise and at least one completed project cycle.
• Possess Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) certification is a plus.
• Experience with HDB projects is a plus.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, BIM software, or other M&E design tools.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to supervise teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, installation methods, and industry standards.
