Responsibilities

• Lead daily supervision of electrical system maintenance and repairs, including lighting, HVAC, and power distribution, to ensure operational reliability
• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical systems and develop preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime
• Enforce 100% safety compliance by performing audits, conducting risk assessments, and delivering targeted safety training to the team
• Monitor facility energy consumption and implement efficiency improvement initiatives, achieving measurable reductions such as a 10% decrease in energy use
• Coordinate procurement processes for electrical parts and equipment, managing timely delivery and availability for maintenance and emergency repairs
• Manage emergency troubleshooting efforts to promptly resolve electrical system failures and minimize operational disruptions
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately in facility management systems to ensure compliance with audit requirements
• Lead and mentor technicians during electrical installations and collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless MEP system integration

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in MEP or facilities electrical maintenance
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design and layout documentation
• Skilled in PLC programming and electrical testing procedures
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and compliance standards
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing technical teams and safety programs
• Proven problem-solving skills in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
