Responsibilities for Mental Health Nurse:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualised care plans.
- Support patients recovery by providing education, therapeutic communication, and emotional support.
- Monitor patients progress and communicate significant clinical updates to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation while complying with hospital policies and professional nursing standards.
- Foster a safe and therapeutic environment that promotes patients well-being and recovery.
- Mentor junior nurses and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications for Mental Health Nurse:
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) licence.
- Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Mental Health) will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to respond calmly and professionally in challenging situations.
- A collaborative team player with initiative and adaptability.
- Interest in developing a career in mental health nursing.
- Able to work rotating 3-shift schedules.
