Job Summary
The Manager's main responsibilities are to develop and drive member engagement programmes and initiatives to increase ASME membership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Member Relations
- Develop and drive member engagement programmes and initiatives to increase membership
- Curate and organise programmes that are relevant to SMEs businesses
- Communicate and deliver on member benefits and value proposition to improve member sign-ups and retention
- Provide platforms for members to network and volunteer in action groups that are key drivers for business growth
- Improve systems and processes in the member relations department to increase automation and service level
- Design and implement member onboarding process with a customer service mindset
- Lead and drive CRM project to enable organisation-wide adoption and increase productivity
- Prepare reports as required by the management.
- Work with Executive Council members on special projects as assigned.
- Collaborate with government agencies to drive industry development and transformation
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree holder
- Minimum 3 years experience in a managerial role within a nonprofit organisation or trade association preferred (Candidates with less experience may be considered for the same job, positioned at the Assistant Manager level)
- Proven track record in event management
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
- Passionate about digital adoption
- Resilient individual with a can-do attitude and exceptional organisational skills.
- Takes a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and be hands-on
- Have enthusiasm to work with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Flexibility to work some evenings/weekends for key events
