Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team as a Meetings & Event Sales/Coordinator, where you'll drive client engagement and sales growth in the vibrant events landscape of Singapore. Make an impact by delivering exceptional event solutions tailored to client needs.

Responsibilities

  1. Achieve individual revenue targets and sales KPIs.
  2. Proactively identify and secure new client opportunities through various outreach methods.
  3. Build and nurture a strong sales pipeline utilizing networking and referrals.
  4. Lead client presentations, pitches, and proposal development activities.
  5. Conduct consultative sales discussions to understand client objectives and offer tailored event solutions.
  6. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business and upselling.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams and partners for seamless event planning and coordination.
  8. Ensure the smooth delivery of meetings and events.
  9. Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, or a related field. Candidates with relevant experience and qualifications will also be considered.
  2. Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the MICE or events sector.
  3. Proven track record in acquiring new business and driving revenue growth.
  4. Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling techniques.
  5. Experience engaging corporate clients and influencing key decision-makers.
  6. Ability to thrive in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
  7. Willingness to travel as required.
  8. Demonstrate a proactive sales approach with a strong hunter mentality.
  9. Excellent networking, relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  10. Strong organizational and pipeline management abilities.
  11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
