Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and account management to achieve project revenue targets for M&E and event services in Singapore
- Identify and pursue new M&E business opportunities in Singapore
Other Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target companies and meeting and events industries
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Collaborate internally with teams in Singapore (sales, operations, finance) to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction
- Attend industry trade shows and networking events to promote our services and generate leads
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management
- Conceptualize, plan, and manage various types of events, including conferences, seminars, product launches, and corporate meetings
- Develop marketing and promotional materials for events in collaboration with his/her team
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and obtain necessary permits for events
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in meeting and events business in Singapore
- Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the Company from time to time
Job Requirement
- 3+ years of experience in hospitality or event sales
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Fluent in speaking and writing of both English & Chinese/ Malay/ Tamil is essential to liaise closely with the business partners and clients
- Computer Skills: Strong technical skills are required and should include the use of Microsoft Suite products as well as the ability to quickly learn new software tools.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of the Meeting and Events industry in Singapore
- Cultural sensitivity and understanding of business practices in Singapore
- Strategy development
- Marketing skills
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
