Medical Technologist

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
• Expected to develop knowledge of local and international regulations regarding clinical trials
• Expected to develop knowledge of pre-analytical variables affecting clinical laboratory testing
• Expected to develop knowledge of disease processes and correlation with clinical laboratory data
• Perform laboratory investigations
• Perform clinical specimen testing, documentation, and routine lab system operations and
• Ensure validity of laboratory data reported.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Biochemistry, Haematology, and/or Immunology
• Basic knowledge of drug therapy techniques and medical terminology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in a team environment with effective interpersonal skills and able to work independently and
• Able to work on rotational public holidays and weekends.
