Job Summary

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, seeks a dynamic Medical Sales Representative to promote specialty care products by engaging healthcare professionals, building partnerships, and driving adoption of innovative therapies addressing complex medical needs.

Responsibilities

  • Promote specialty care products to physicians, specialists, pharmacists, and hospital decision-makers to expand market reach
  • Deliver scientific presentations and product education that highlight therapeutic benefits, clinical data, and patient outcomes to healthcare professionals
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and institutions to support product adoption
  • Achieve sales targets by executing territory business plans and monitoring performance metrics to optimize sales outcomes
  • Provide market insights by tracking competitor activity, treatment trends, and unmet patient needs to inform strategic decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with medical affairs, marketing, and market access teams to ensure alignment of strategies and messaging
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all professional interactions

Required competencies and certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related discipline
  • 2-5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in specialty care such as oncology, immunology, or rare diseases

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Strong scientific acumen demonstrated by the ability to discuss complex clinical data confidently
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills to foster trust and influence stakeholders
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through effective territory management
