Key Responsibilities
Content Leadership & Quality Assurance:
- Review, edit, and approve medical content to ensure scientific accuracy, clarity, and adherence to client and industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory guidelines and medical ethics.
- Strategic Content Development:
- Oversee the creation of marketing and educational content targeted at healthcare professionals and patients, such as e-detailing aids, brochures, white papers, and digital campaigns.
- Develop content strategies that align with client objectives, leveraging clinical data to craft impactful narratives.
- Team Support & Collaboration:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the medical content team, helping writers enhance their skills and deliver top-quality work.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including account, creative, and strategy, to achieve seamless project execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Academic Background:
- PhD in Medicine, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
Certifications:
- Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP) or equivalent certification in medical writing or communications.
Professional Experience:
- 3+ years in medical content creation, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Extensive experience working with healthcare marketing or advertising agencies.
- Expertise in crafting content for multi-channel campaigns and regulatory submissions.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in medical and marketing writing across digital and print formats.
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards, including ICMJE, GPP, and CONSORT.
- Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems.
