Mechanical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable Mechanical Technician to support construction and logistics operations by maintaining, repairing, and servicing mechanical equipment, vehicles, and machinery. The role requires hands-on technical skills to ensure smooth and safe daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on construction and logistics equipment

Repair and service machinery, tools, trailers, and related mechanical systems

Diagnose mechanical faults and perform timely rectification

Assist in installation, assembly, and dismantling of mechanical components

Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance

Maintain maintenance records and report defects or breakdowns

Support site and yard operations when required

Comply with workplace safety, MOM, and company regulations

Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Minimum 1-3 years relevant experience in construction or logistics industry preferred

Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, engines, hydraulics, or machinery

Able to work independently and in a team

Willing to work overtime, weekends, or shift work if required
