Mechanical Technician (Construction Equipment & Systems)

The Mechanical Technician supports site and operations teams by carrying out hands-on technical work related to construction machinery, vehicles, and mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operate, inspect, and maintain construction machinery, vehicles, and mechanical equipment

• Perform routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and basic mechanical repairs

• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical faults under supervision of senior technical staff

• Support site operations by ensuring equipment readiness and safe operation

• Carry out equipment checks in accordance with safety and operational procedures

• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and basic technical documentation

• Comply with workplace safety, health, and regulatory requirements

• Perform other technical duties related to machinery and equipment operations as assigned

• This is a hands-on technical role requiring on-site work and practical mechanical skills.
  

Job Requirements

• Technical or vocational qualification in:

  • Mechanical technology

  • Automotive or vehicle technology

  • Construction equipment or machinery operations

  • Engineering machinery maintenance

• Relevant hands-on experience with machinery, vehicles, or construction equipment preferred

• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance procedures

• Willingness to perform physical and site-based work

• Ability to follow technical instructions and safety protocols
