Responsibilities
- Lead & Supervise a team of mechanical supervisors and contractors in plant maintenance, modifications, and construction activities, ensuring safe and timely execution without operational disruptions.
- Coordinate with plant operators and other maintenance teams to execute work safely while upholding plant integrity.
- Troubleshoot & Investigate mechanical issues in static and rotating equipment (e.g., heat exchangers, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, blowers) and recommend countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
- Implement Upgrades & Modifications to plant facilities based on technical specifications and business needs.
- Train & Develop staff and contractors to enhance their skills and competencies.
- Respond to Emergencies and resolve mechanical issues within tight schedules.
- Ensure Compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and SS651 standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the oil, petrochemical, or chemical manufacturing industry
- Hands-on expertise in static & rotating equipment maintenance (e.g., pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, agitators)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (SAP knowledge is a plus)
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively
