Mechanical (HVAC) Manager / Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer

As they continue to expand their impressive portfolio of critical infrastructure projects, they are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mechanical (HVAC) Manager / Mechanical (HVAC) Engineerto lead key initiatives and drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute Mechanical (HVAC/ACMV) engineering projects from initial planning and design review through to installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover.

• Review and prepare mechanical design calculations, technical specifications, and working drawings to ensure full compliance with project requirements and statutory codes.

• Coordinate seamlessly with clients, consultants, main contractors, and internal project teams to ensure the effective integration of HVAC systems with other engineering and architectural disciplines.

• Supervise on-site installations, monitor daily work progress, and strictly enforce site safety and quality control standards.

• Oversee equipment and material procurement, evaluate vendor submissions, and manage subcontractor performance.

• Conduct regular site inspections, actively participate in project meetings, and prepare accurate site progress documentation.

• For the Managerial role: Lead, mentor, and direct a team of engineers and supervisors, taking ownership of the overall project schedule, resource allocation, and operational performance.

Key Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC/ACMV building services for the Engineer role 8+ years of experience with a proven track record in project leadership for the Manager role.

• Strong working knowledge of local mechanical codes, statutory regulations, and industry safety standards.

• Proficiency in relevant engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD experience with BIM/Revit is a strong advantage).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach to resolving site-specific technical challenges.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
