MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Supervise and coordinate installation of mechanical works such as HVAC systems, piping, and equipment

Inspect and monitor site work to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and regulations

Prepare technical drawings, reports, and documentation

Conduct testing and commissioning of mechanical systems

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site

Ensure adherence to workplace safety and health regulations

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other departments

Maintain records of work progress, materials, and equipment
Conduct trouble shooting of defects on mechanical system / equipment onboard ships

Carry out general repair and maintenance jobs onboard vessels or in workshops

Dismantle and troubleshoot for mechanical defects

Perform repair and /or replacement of mechanical spare parts

Perform alignment checks and reassemble the mechanical parts

Perform testing of equipment to ensure smooth operation
