Mechanical Engineer (Vessel Mechanical)

Our client is a Marine and Offshore Industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all mechanical aspects of lab setups for in-house FAT, including selection of couplings and gearboxes.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and resolve mechanical system issues throughout all project stages, including development, setup, FAT, SAT, and warranty support.
• Lead mechanical system design activities across all stages of development.
• Produce detailed mechanical drawings to ensure clear communication with suppliers.
• Develop standardized systems and process flows to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and ensure consistent quality.

Requirements:

• Hands on experience with vessel mechanical and engine systems.
• Experience with engineering design software (SOLIDWORKS is a plus)
