To provide engineering expertise for the design, operation, maintenance, and reliability of mechanical systems and equipment used within process plants, ensuring safety, efficiency, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Minimum 5 years of Process industries.
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical equipment like pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, tanks, and piping.
- Assist in equipment installation, alignment, and testing.
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Review basic mechanical drawings, datasheets, and specifications.
- Monitor equipment performance and report issues.
- Follow safety procedures (PTW, LOTO, plant safety rules).
- Work with other departments (electrical, instrumentation, operations) to solve mechanical problems.
- Support small projects, modifications, or repairs in the plant.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment and tools.
- Able to read simple engineering drawings (P&ID, layout).
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Safety-conscious and able to work in plant/industrial environment.
- Assist in shutdown/turnaround maintenance
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors.
- Prepare simple technical reports.
